seein them birds turn your way and cup into ur spread...callin a group of honkers into a hay field, lettin his feet get about a foot off the ground, and layin the blackclouds BBB into him.....gettin up at 4 am loadin up the truck and scrapin the ice off the windshield...and the cns girls (Brooke Becker)

watchin that big group of honkers fly by, not payin a bit of attention to your spread...Havin a group of greenheads circle and then leave... killin no birds

Thanks for the comment on the blog!  It's not a bad tractor, gets the job done, but our other 2 are better.

Thanks for the comment on my hunt photo. we get ducks and geese over these fields in the Klamath National wildlife refuge all the time. There is alot of water early in the season, then it freezes. Ducks working frozen ponds are pretty cool. They work in and sometimes try to land, sliding right into range. LOL

Have great day!!

Well I can not give away my secret locations...but I hunt around Waxahachie, some up near Lubbock, and a few other smaller towns, also look into hunting around Texarakana.

Well, they are nice to have and work better than an outboard.  I would like to get a surface drive mud motor instead of a longtail, but mine works so thats all that matters at this point.

Yeah man. No problem.  Have to start some where.   Last season I had a 12ft jon boat with a paddle.  Worked over the summer and saved up to buy a used go devil.

Yeah, it is nice, but I actually do just as good or better on some public places.  I dont normally hunt around here in the DFW area just because it gets way too crowded, but since you have a truck I would look on a map for some lakes that you may think hold birds, call to see if you can hunt them, then get out there and scout.  I spend more time scouting than hunting during my usual duck season.  Scouting is the key.

Actually a lot of private, but some on lakes too.
