My name is Robert, and go to school down here in College Station. I have a wonderful family which includes my dad, mom, and sister who goes to LSU. I love the outdoors, but my passion is waterfowl hunting. I also love fishing when it is not hunting season. I have a wonderful yellow lab named Luke who is the best friend I can ask for. He is the one who really got me started in waterfowl hunting, and if it wasn't for him I would not be where I am today. I also love the Lord, and put him before any thing. I live my life to the fullest because life is too short and precious not to.

I started my waterfowl passion when I was about 10 years old , when my father would take me down to the coast to hunt. Ever since my first duck hunt I have been addicted, and begged my dad to continue taking me until I got my truck. Once I got my truck I took it a step further and began doing every thing on my own, with Luke riding in the front seat. Found my new honey holes, new places to hunt, met new people, and the best of all about every weekend I was spending time in the great outdoors. After my first 2 years I had my truck, my friends and I found out what it was like to be true dedicated waterfowlers. Once my waterfowling stage took off, I began wanting Luke to be the best he could be. I began training him to be an advanced hunting dog as well as running hunt test. We ran a few test, had some ups and downs, passed a few, and failed some, but the most important to me is growing the bond between him and I. Now , he is my best friend. He goes every where with me, sleep s in my bed on occasions, rides in the truck, and does whatever he prefers. He is the best bud I can ask for. Just last year, I was introduced to the Rich-N-Tone crew for competition duck calling. They tuned a MVP for me, I practiced, practiced and practiced some more for calling competitions. My very first competition was in Stuttgart,AR at the Mack's Prairie Wings Regional Contest. Even though I forgot half of my routine when I got up there, I still learned a lot and had a blast and continue to enjoy comp calling.

I am now proud to call myself a member of Team CASTnSHOOT too. I have been working with these great guys for about a year now trying all different sides of the crew. We all love to film the outdoors, edit, and do whatever it takes to get some awesome hunting or fishing footage out there.

Well, I only have done deer hunting, and yeah, season was over awhile ago. Slug gun/Rifle season started 17th November. Till I think the 10th of December.

I've never done duck hunting, I would like to, but have not. There are not alot of places up here, that you can go, where it will not be like a battlefield for duck hunting. Because all the swamps are public land, and any hunting on them is scary.

Oi, the reason we moved to socialist NY. Well in short, because a few years ago, we almost lost our house in Houston. My Dad, quit his practice, so him and my Mom could run there own business, and it was patchy at best the first couple of years.

So we got close to losing the house, and somebody offered us a decent sized house up here for free (lesson of your life, when someone offer a free house, aproach with extreme caution), we moved out of that house after 6 months, and into our house now, which is in a fairly nice suburb of Buffalo, not in ghetto Buffalo, which is where the free house was

And pretty much right after we moved here, we relized we really hate NY, and have to get back to TX. For one, Dallas is not dying, like almost all the big cities, up here in the rust belt. Which means, we have no idea what kind of jobs will be available around here for me and my brothers. Plus the taxes are always on the rise here.

And I don't like snow, lol

yea it was a blast, the hunting was not to bad, quite a few birds around but only in small pockets because of lots of water being locked up. but once you found those small areas they were holding in it was pretty dang good. didnt have any large groups in the hundreds come in like we did when you hunted up there with me but did have a few larger flocks of residents come in.
